Janice’s
Mum and Dad fondly remember their little girl, in her rocking chair,
singing gospel music by the hour. Janice has used her voice to lift
His name in song ever since.
She joined the Gospelaires at only sixteen, and this eventually led
to the development of three successful solo albums. You may have seen
Janice performing on the internationally televised Day of Discovery
television program. It is an opportunity that has taken her as far
as Israel, England, Scotland and throughout North America. Janice
has performed with a variety of artists, including Ray Boltz, the
late Gene McLellan, the late Anthony Burger, David Robertson, and
arrangers Dan Smith and Lari Goss. She is also a prolific songwriter.
Among her work, is the title song of the Dove Award-nominated album,
The Gift, by Anthony Burger. Janice LaPointe McLaughlin and her husband
Jeep live in Fredericton, New Brunswick with their children, Jana
and Jacob, who are both in university. Janice is in full-time music
ministry in her local church. |

Joel
has always had a love for music and a desire to express his heart
through song. After accepting Christ at age 19, Joel began singing
for the Lord at local churches, in varying vocal combinations. During
his eight years as a member of the Gospelaires, he was involved
with a variety of recordings and television appearances. Joel continues
to be very involved in his home church and resides in Fredericton,
New Brunswick where he is a senior partner in a real estate appraisal
and consulting firm. He and his wife Elaine, have three wonderful
sons, Mitchell, Jordan and Jesse, and a wonderful daughter-in-law
Elisha, who is married to Mitchell. |

As a young boy, Andy vividly recalls being in the
front pew of many churches, listening intently and singing his heart
out along with his "Dad’s gospel group."
Music continues to be an important part of Andy’s life. He
has sung and performed in a variety of musical groups and productions
since the age of 17. His work has taken him from solos in his church
to several leading roles in music dramas, along with radio and television
experience. Andy writes and arranges music for the LaPointes and
also manages the group. Andy, his wife, Brookee and their children,
Olivia and Graysen, reside in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where
Andy works as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager.
