The
LaPointes would like to wish you a Happy New Year filled with
blessings and God's peace. May we all give more, love more and
strive to please Him more everyday! It was a busy holiday season
for us this past December. We had a wonderful series of Christmas
Concerts and once again, we can't thank enough, those who went
on the road with us. Thanks to Barbara Lee Designs for your
amazing sets, John, Colin and Matt for a great band, Bonnie
Kilburn and her dancers for teaching us moves we didn't think
we could possibly do, Iian for your awesome backdrops and lighting,
finally, Doug and Nicole for your great work with our projections!
You are all amazing!
Last year was an exciting year for The LaPointes. They received
their 4th East Coast Music Award for their worship album, "I
Love You So" and received 2 Covenant Award nominations.
Also, The LaPointes experienced a beautiful worship night at
their 3rd Annual Worship In The Square event, with guest Jeff
Deyo, and had over 2,000 in attendance. The year was busy with
rehearsing, travelling and even planning a wedding with Jana,
Janice's daughter! Yes..... Janice's little girl is now a married
young lady. Congratulations Jana and Mike!
Now into 2008, The LaPointes have already felt priviledged to
perform for ceremonies honoring legendary NHL player, Willie
O'Ree and will be performing soon at East Coast Music's Awards
Gala Show on Feb. 10th.
The LaPointe's prayer and goal for 2008 is that their ministry
be filled with God's direction and presence and that He be glorified
in every song that is sung! |
